This policy describes the launch version of Yarnluma at yarnluma.com. Questions can be sent using the contact page.
Notebook and preferences
Project names, row counts, material lists, and notes are stored in your browser’s local storage. They are not uploaded to a Yarnluma account. An exported backup is a file you choose to save. Imported backups are processed in your browser. You can delete the current project in the notebook or clear all Yarnluma local data from Cookies & storage.
Offline files
If your browser enables the companion app, it may store the app shell and pages you explicitly save for offline use. This cache can include project instructions and diagrams. Clearing offline files removes those copies from this browser.
Messages you send
The contact form prepares a message in your own email app; it does not submit a message to a website database. If you choose to send it, the recipient receives your email address and whatever information you include. Avoid sending sensitive personal information. Email providers process messages under their own policies. Messages should be kept only as long as needed to handle the request or meet applicable obligations.
Hosting and technical logs
The hosting provider may process IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps, and browser information for delivery, security, and operational logging. This site does not configure a visitor-profile database. Provider log retention depends on the hosting account and provider settings.
Analytics and advertising
This delivered version does not load third-party analytics, advertising scripts, tracking pixels, or embedded social-media widgets. If advertising or analytics are enabled later, this policy and any required consent mechanism must be updated before those scripts run.
External links and your choices
External sites have their own policies. You may use the reading pages without creating a notebook. You can contact the operator to ask about personal information you have sent by email, including access or deletion requests where applicable. Local-only notes must be managed on your own device because the operator does not receive them.
Children and changes
The service is intended for a general crafting audience and is not designed to collect children’s personal information. Policy changes should be described here when the website’s data practices change.
